The Charqutie Story
Charqutie was born from a seed of kindness. During a time of social change and pandemic related inconveniences, foodie entrepreneur, Joanna Hawkins became obsessed with showing small, random acts of kindness in her community. By the sharing of mini charcuterie gift boxes to friends, family, local school teachers, health professionals and the elderly, this Les Roches Swiss Hospitality School educated businesswoman started blessing those around her with unexpected snacks that were welcomed with beaming smiles. This simple gesture, combined with her love for seeking out beauty wherever she goes, sparked interest in the local community and soon people grew interested in placing orders to reciprocate their own gratitude towards their loved ones, clients and friends. These days, Joanna juggles work and motherhood from her home base in San Antonio, TX where she lives with her three young boys.
